MonakhovLab

The MonakhovLab performs cutting-edge research in the fields of "Molecular Electronics", "Neuromorphic Computing" and "Sensor Materials". It is focused on the development and nanoscale imaging of conceptually new coordination compounds, metal-based nanomaterials and (non-)covalent frameworks with redox- and magnetic-specific properties with regard to their use in technologically oriented charge-/spin-transport and optical mechanisms on solid substrate surfaces. The research program includes the inorganic and organic synthesis and the chemical-physical characterization of functional single molecules and their molecular networks. The nanostructuring of (semi-)conducting surfaces by chemical and physical means and the electrical contacting of individual, molecular nanosized building blocks are among the topics of Lab's multidisciplinary studies.
