Newton Research Group
The NRG team is focussed on the fabrication and characterisation of hybrid molecular materials for applications in a range of technologies. In particular, we are interested in (i) the preparation of responsive advanced materials based on supramolecular assemblies of functional molecular clusters; (ii) the use of configurable molecular metal oxides as redox-active components in next-generation battery technologies; and (iii) the rational design and fabrication of highly-active polyoxometalate-based photocatalysts for organic oxidation reactions.
